About

Engineering rigor, customer strategy, and AI-native execution

I help organizations turn generative AI into governed, repeatable ways of working. My approach combines technical fluency, program leadership, and customer strategy from deployment through measurable value.

Joseph Ruiz Yurkanin

My background

At Glean, I lead post-sales customer success for enterprise AI programs across technical implementation, launch, adoption, value realization, and long-term account health. I coordinate customer stakeholders and cross-functional teams while keeping technical readiness, risk, and business outcomes aligned.

I hold a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an MBA in Information Technology Management from Western Governors University. That combination shapes how I work: define the system, understand the constraints, align people around an outcome, and measure whether the solution delivers.

Core strengths

Beyond work

You’ll often find me planning international travel, slow-smoking Texas barbecue, hiking Central Texas trails, building programming side projects, playing chess, or searching for the next vintage watch. Raised between two cultures and holding dual U.S. and Colombian citizenship, I bring a global mindset and an appreciation for diverse perspectives to every team I join.
